  Library Journal Review

For roughly ten years, Vettese and Barnes have maintained 3191 Miles Apart, a creative space online where they collaborate and share images. In their latest work together, the duo present images, recipes, and craft projects, as well as poignant letters to each other reflecting the changes that take place during the year. Photographs-the reason that Vettese and Barnes began their initial collaboration-are featured prominently throughout and are reminiscent of the highly styled photos shared by popular Instagram users. (Think photos of carefully arranged everyday objects taken from above and artsy photos of food/toddlers/nature/cats.) VERDICT Fans of the authors' work are the ideal audience; however, followers of other lifestyle-focused blogs or Instagram accounts will appreciate this glimpse into the pair's thoughtfully curated lives. © Copyright 2017.
